        Product Change Notification (PCN) Explanation

 

產品上市後，匯宇 始終堅持持續改善策略，因此我們可能需要對產品或生產流程進行修改、 更新。 After product release to market, GLOBALTECH (GS) emphasizes continual improvement strategies, and as a result, we may need to modify or u pdate. 匯宇 遵守 J-STD-046 標準中關於及時通知的要求。根據該行業標準，我們將通知客戶任何 影響產品外形、尺寸或功能，或對產品品質或可靠性產生不利影響的重大變更。 GS complies with the requirements for timely notification in j-std-046. Consistent with this industry standard, customers will be notified of major changes which affect the form, fit or function, or adversely affect quality or reliability of the product. 匯宇 在實施任何需要通知的變更之前，會提供以下資訊： GS provides the following information before implementing any notifiable change:

  • 詳細描述 Detailed description 
  • 變更原因 Reason for change 
  • PCN(產品變更通知)追蹤編號 PCN tracking number 
  • 受影響產品 Product identification (affected products) 
  • 品質驗證 Quality verification 
  • 驗證計畫與結果(若尚未取得結果，則提供驗證時程) Qualification plan and results (or qual schedule if results are not available) 
  • PCN 生效日期 PCN effective date of change

  • 通知對象(Recipient of the Notice)

(1) has purchased the product from the supplier within the past two (2) years and has a contract or purchase agreement with Process Change Notice (PCN) requirements, or 在過去兩 (2) 年內從供應商購買了該產品，並簽訂了包含流程變更通知 (PCN) 要求的合 約或採購協議；或者

(2) has requested (and the supplier has agreed to provide) PCN information, or is an approved supplier agent and has purchased the product within the past two years. 已要求（且供應商已同意提供）PCN 訊息，或是一位經批准的供應商代理商，並且在過 去兩年內購買了該產品。 

 

  • 客戶通知(Customer Notification)

(1) Determine notification requirements (for review or awareness only) per special customer criteria or supplier-agreed-to customer profile. If a customer expresses no unique notification attributes, the supplier's standard PCN system shall apply. 依據特殊客戶標準或供應商認可的客戶概況，確定通知要求（僅供審核或知悉）。如果客 戶未表明任何獨特的通知屬性，則適用供應商的標準產品變更通知 (PCN) 系統。

(2) Customer will be notified a minimum of 90 days before the proposed first ship date of the product identified in the PCN. Shipment of changed product may occur prior to stated ship date only with customer approval. Included in the 90 day review period is the time necessary for an authorized distributor and/or contract manufacturer to forward the notice to its customers of the affected product. 供應商將在 PCN 中指明的產品擬定首次出貨日期前至少 90 天通知客戶。變更後的產品 只有在獲得客戶批准後才能在規定的出貨日期之前出貨。 90 天的審核期包括授權經銷商和/或合約製造商將通知轉發給其受影響產品客戶所需的時 間。

(3) It is suggested that suppliers also post their ‘generic’ PCN notices (i.e., notice does not contain any confidential or customer specific information) on a website to allow for potentially missed customers to view current and past PCNs. 建議供應商也將「通用」PCN 通知（即不包含任何機密或客戶特定資訊的通知）發佈在 網站上，以便可能錯過通知的客戶查看當前和以往的 PCN。 

 

  • 客戶回覆(Customer Acknowledgement Response)

(1) Customers should acknowledge receipt of the PCN within 30 days of delivery of the PCN. Any concerns, sample order response, or a request for further information should be provided within the acknowledgement period. If additional time is required to determine if samples or additional data is required, the customer must submit this request along with the acknowledgement response and state when they expect to complete their review. 客戶應在收到變更通知書 (PCN) 後 30 天內確認收到。如有任何疑問、樣品訂單回复或 需要更多信息，均應在此確認期限內提出。如需更多時間確定是否需要樣品或其他數據， 客戶必須在確認回覆中同時提交此請求，並說明預計完成審核的時間。

(2) Lack of acknowledgement of the PCN within 30 days constitutes acceptance of the change. 若客戶未在 30 天內確認收到變更通知書，則視為客戶接受變更。 

 

  • 客戶確認後操作(Customer Actions After Acknowledgement)

(1) After acknowledgement, lack of additional response within the 90-day period constitutes acceptance of the change. 在確認收到（變更通知）後，若在 90 天內未提供進一步回覆，則視為接受該項變更。。 (2) If the customer requires additional time to perform sample testing, beyond the 90-day review period, an extension must be negotiated with the supplier. 若客戶需要額外時間進行樣品測試，且超出了 90 天的審查期，則必須與供應商協商延期 事宜。  供應商後續回覆(Supplier Follow-up Response) (1) After receipt of all requested qualification reports, additional data to clarify the PCN, and/or samples
